More About Micky

Micky is a truly special children's pony with a wonderful story! For the past seven years, he has been part of the same family, watching their children grow up. From their very first lead rein rides to their most memorable competition moments, Micky has been there every step of the way. He is incredibly sweet, genuine and patient. Exactly the kind of pony who helps young children build confidence, gain experience and, above all, have an enormous amount of fun.

From the Bixie Arena to The Dutch Masters!

For a children's lead rein and Bixie pony, Micky's competition experience is truly impressive! He has competed in several SOSO Bixie events at the beautiful Green Valley Estate, participated in the Dutch National Bixie Championships, and made an appearance at The Dutch Masters in the Brabanthallen on no fewer than two occasions!

Large arenas, plenty of spectators and the excitement of a major competition? Micky has experienced it all. He is accustomed to different competition venues and, according to his owners, is not easily unsettled by everything going on around him. What an incredible amount of experience for a little children's pony!

A Wonderful Children's Pony with Room to Develop Further

As Micky has mainly been ridden on the lead rein by young children over the past few years, his further schooling under saddle has not yet been fully developed. Recently, more attention has been given to this side of his training, and Micky is responding extremely well! With his lovely attitude, attractive appearance and experience, we see opportunities for him to develop further in both dressage and jumping with consistent training.

This makes him not only a wonderful pony for a child's first Bixie adventures, but also an interesting option for a family who would like to continue his education.

Just as Lovely to Have Around at Home

Away from the competition arena, Micky is every bit as delightful.

During the day, he enjoys spending time in the field with other horses and ponies, while at night he stays in his stable. He is sociable with his companions, easy for the farrier and well-behaved when loading and travelling.

He is also a pleasure to care for. According to his owners, Micky can even have his legs clipped and X-rays taken without sedation.

His owners also report that he has no stable vices and that his worming, vaccinations, hoof care and dental appointments have always been kept up to date.

In short, Micky is a golden-hearted children's pony with a wonderful story and a wealth of experience. From those very first lead rein rides to unforgettable moments at major competitions, he is a pony with whom children can grow, have fun and make memories to last a lifetime. An incredibly sweet, experienced Bixie pony ready to bring just as much happiness to his next family!
